Please note that this setting will only be used for new catalogs, not when you update existing catalogs. The file name suffix for extended NeoFinder catalog files is ".neofinder7". NeoFinder 7.x can of course still open, display, search, and even edit your existing catalogs in the old format. If you don’t use the older versions in your setup any longer, simply activate this option.
